  1. I agree with most here that these look CAC. The patterns and separation of colors lean toward CAC to me.
  2. Agreed, looks like an Akro Snake. Nice.
  3. Agree that it's a WVS not a slag. Not sure of the maker though. Maybe others will chime in.
  4. Agree that it's a natural stone sphere, not a marble. Looks like Tiger's Eye.
  5. I agree with Marble King—later, I think. I've seen these called Anemic Bees.
  6. Yes, looks like a Vacor Spaghetti.
  7. Agreed, Peltier Rainbo, satisfying colors.
  8. All beauties. Double ingots resulted in great patterns here.
  9. I agree with Alley.
  10. I agree with Fire that the ribbon on the outside is black. Good to know about how the light blue streak inside affects classification, though.
  11. I agree that it's a Master Tiger Eye. Nice to see at shooter size.
  12. Agreed, Peltier Rainbo.
  13. Looking forward to more photos. I'd say there are some Veiligglas opaque swirls in the last bag.
  14. The dark red on blue base (third photo) I suspect is an Alley, fourth photo is a Peltier Rainbo, and the last three look like Vitro All Reds. The others are intriguing but more views of each are needed.
  15. Interesting discussion. I imagine every collector has wanted to see a magnified view at some point. It's not necessarily about finding flaws but more about admiring these small objects in a more immersive way. It's pretty enjoyable sitting in a sunny window looking at marbles with a loupe.
  16. I agree with both of you that they're Vitro Conquerors.
  17. Agreed, Peltier Rainbo.
  18. Agreed, looks like a Vacor Wicked Owl to me too.
  19. Also, looks like streaks of red in one or two Cub Scouts in that bag—appealing and perhaps older.
  20. In my opinion, yes. The swirls in the second and third pictures are Akro Milky Oxbloods and Silver Oxbloods, with the exception of maybe one or two non-oxbloods. Looks like an Akro Lemonade Oxblood in the back of those pictures too. The first picture shows a group of nice oxblood patches, though I'm not sure of the makers. Great bunch of marbles.
  21. I agree with Alley. These seem like Alley St. Marys Ghosts with a different colorway. The new West Virginia Swirls book--excellent and highly recommended--shows a marble like this in the Alley St. Marys section.
  22. I'd say it's a dyed clay marble. More appealing than the plain clays, in my opinion.
  23. It can be interesting to save these solid marbles in jars by color, to see the wide variety of glass used.
  24. I agree that it's a Rainbo. I like the green to pink to blue gradient on one side.
  25. Looks like a PPP to me too, and there's an appealing CAC-ish red slag above it. Agree too about the element of risk with a single view through a plastic bag.
