  1. That rough spot if where it came of the punty rod showing that it's handmade. I could see the Mica in the first picture you showed but it was pretty hard to decipher. Sometimes it's super hard to tell with a single picture but it looked it to me.

The glass seems crisper in those marbles than the later Chinese or Mexican imperials. Also, I've looked in @shiroaiko's marble book, and there are some Japanese marbles that look almost exactly like pelts. 

    That's sounds to be like the most plausible theory in this marble. It's so nice compared to any Asian or Mexican i can recall.

    Thank you so much!  It immediately caught my attention upon the start of the sorting. Its certainly an eye catcher. I'm gong to be listing it in my ebay and maybe Facebook if you would like to own it. As well as the other vitros I have found
