  7. well I have seen them when Art was making them and they for sure did not look original . just in how they were made and you could see that the wear marks were not worn but printed that way . but I wonder who did get them ? for a private collection but even then they will be sold again some day . so now may be I should list my tri-color akro to fill the 100 box . I found the bags very interesting I wondered if they are new or just something Art found ? Mike
  8. Hi all well Art Jones made a few boxes I do not know if they were the same that as the ones Les Jones was having made .   10. The red and white is not Akro it is a ? who ever bought out the akro molds I know but not right now , all the cornucopias that are wild are most likely not Akro . Mike
  11. I think I have some with the letters backwards also but they are in a rear load cabinet . will looks some day but there still on the common side , and I do love moss agate ade so have one that is about 1 5/16 it is so big it is a little egg shaped . 1.310 X 1 250 . Mike

  13. Hi just wondering the age on some Vitro all reds I have a lot of them have a metallic sheen over the marble ,mostly the red and black . I have seen a lot of them so are these 1980 's 1970's OR ?? Mike
  14. well at the flea market a lot more Akro showing up and the usual jars with big dollars , one area had two jars marked at $35.00 on the bottom of one was a Akro agate egg yolk oxblood look nice and about 3/4 so what the heck I said would you take $5.00 for just one marble and sure enough she said sure . so my new name will be " A SURE marble " not bad shape but not mint . and a very small 3/4 .725 Mike

Mike Hello Mike, The color on that marble is even brighter pink than it appears in the pictures- more like a nail polish stroke of hot pink. And it's a mint one. Thanks for the interest.   19. well I think I see one that is all blue called a This is a very cool piece. This cane is a wonderfully crafted blue porcelain knob cane from the Dayton Circus 1910. This is a very cool and interesting piece and it would make a wonderful addition to collection. It measures approximately 35" tall, while the ball measures 1" in diameter.   21. well even at .06 or .07 each just think about the wages . every one was really in the money in the 1900 and went way over board by 1910 to 1919 The average American worker earned approximately $12.98 per week for 59 hours of work in 1900---$674.96 a year. Most workers did not earn that much money. There were no paid vacations, holidays or sick leave. A laborer worked and got paid, or did not work and did not get paid. During the decade 1910-1919 the average worker's salary increased to $750 a year.
  22. yes a as Bob said but he also has a few books out there and at most local library's or can buy from Bob if that helps also looks like about 2 inches in Dia ?? . wash it and see now nice it looks wet , you will enjoy even more . nice with the blue across the green .
