well I have seen them when Art was making them and they for sure did not look original . just in how they were made and you could see that the wear marks were not worn but printed that way . but I wonder who did get them ? for a private collection but even then they will be sold again some day . so now may be I should list my tri-color akro to fill the 100 box . I found the bags very interesting I wondered if they are new or just something Art found ? Mike

well at the flea market a lot more Akro showing up and the usual jars with big dollars , one area had two jars marked at $35.00 on the bottom of one was a Akro agate egg yolk oxblood look nice and about 3/4 so what the heck I said would you take $5.00 for just one marble and sure enough she said sure . so my new name will be " A SURE marble " not bad shape but not mint . and a very small 3/4 .725 Mike

well I think I see one that is all blue called a This is a very cool piece. This cane is a wonderfully crafted blue porcelain knob cane from the Dayton Circus 1910. This is a very cool and interesting piece and it would make a wonderful addition to collection. It measures approximately 35" tall, while the ball measures 1" in diameter. well even at .06 or .07 each just think about the wages . every one was really in the money in the 1900 and went way over board by 1910 to 1919 The average American worker earned approximately $12.98 per week for 59 hours of work in 1900---$674.96 a year. Most workers did not earn that much money. There were no paid vacations, holidays or sick leave. A laborer worked and got paid, or did not work and did not get paid. During the decade 1910-1919 the average worker's salary increased to $750 a year.- 15 replies
