Single-Gather Onionskin Cloud Mica?

Is that what we have here, and is there any hope for it, as far as restoration goes? It measures about 1-13/32". There's lots of mica in the red/white panels, and the pontil is ground with faceting.

Sounds right to me except can't see the mica!!

If you put this marble in a glass of water you will see how thick

the clear glass is around the core and this will give you the best

idea if it can be polished without loosing to much of the core.

Nice marble, I think there's some mica visible in pic 5. Condition wise doesn't look too bad although you'd likely lose any pontil detail depending on how polished.
