mmuehlba
for sure did not in fact some times you can get below the cost of polishing if you search . I won a great cooked onion that was local so I could pick up at a cost Of $30.99 1 3/4 in size Mike

VTAndrea
For some of us with limited bank accounts, it could be the only way to afford such a rare marble. Sure would die of excitement if I ever ran across one of these "in the wild" in any condition.
cvdv
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110715557549 By polishing an old marble you'll create another new marble, no longer authentic. The surface will be very smooth and shiny, but you can't see any more, the marks, left there by the craftman, who made it. If it is machine polished, with no longer pontils on it, I think you even can't speak no longer about a handmade-, but a machine made marble. Cees.
