marblerob
If a handmade marble has bubbles, is it mint or near mint, or neither? Is it a flaw?
lstmmrbls
Bubbles inside a marble(while possibly detracting from looks or value) would have nothing to do with a mint or near mint rating.
I'llhavethat1
Sometimes (most times) a really clear glass in a handmade marble makes it more collectible but there are some really bubbly ones people like as well so no I wouldn't say it's a flaw unless trapping air or having the glass too hot is considered a bad thing. Hipocritter
A few contemporary Artists purposely trap air in a marble There are a few antique handmade marbles that have ribbons of bubbled glass intentionally used as part of the design. They can look pretty sparkly when the effect is done correctly.
