swirlsrus
I have been buying some shooters advertised as "mint". Some ( and I notice this in a lot of marbles) there is a crease, like a narrow slash on the marble. Is this common? What causes it? Does it mean it is nm rather than mint?Or even worse? Alan
It sounds like a cold roll. Pic?
Al Oregon
If it is a cold roll mark (smooth not sharp edges), most consider that as-made and would fall in the mint category. That being said, if it is being advertised for sale as mint, the seller should really disclose the cold roll mark as it would affect the value of the marble, whether a common Jabo or a high end CA swirl.
