Steph
Is this an Akro? More views would be good. Also helpful would be a smooth background. The texture on the background is what the camera is focusing on instead of the marble.
ann
Looks like an Akro corkscrew. If clearer pics confirm that, then I've found that a yellow cork on white is one of the harder-to-find white-based one-color corkscrews. Not rare. But not just laying around, either. Mattshaw1953
More pics, I took better images earlier with my camera, the files were too big to upload, I'll sort an app out this evening.
Steph
Looking even more like a corkscrew. However, since I'm still not seeing the view which would nail it for me, I'll simply ask. Is it a corkscrew? Does the yellow ribbon start at one cutline and wrap around the marble until it hits a cutline on the opposite end?
Mattshaw1953
It does wrap around the marble from pole to pole, but I just don't see the cut lines?
ann
Cut lines are not usually obvious (or even visible) on Akros, although sometimes you'll see "eyelashes" there. But each end of a corkscrew will be where the cut took place, whether visible or not. Pretty much any time you see a corkscrew (wrapping around at least once, although there are some fat half-hearted half wraps every now and then) it's going to be Akro. They're the only ones who had the machinery for them --
