ann
No, no, it's not an emergency! Does anybody know -- or have a reasonable guess -- as to when Peltier started experimenting with / making "cross-throughs" and / or "fruit salads," or whatever people usually call them? machinemades
Ann, they are four and six ribbon NLRs, so should date as early as late 20'ties through 30'ties.

Chuck G
Ann, Sammy is probably pretty close on those dates. I know someone who can get it down closer to exactly the year dates. I will check later for you on this. There is one peltier that (i think) could be one of the earliest ones done, but pure speculation on my part having about six examples that are exactly the same run. I have a theory on these examples but until i can prove it i will not go to far out on the limb and committ to what i think. I have two of two different sizes that was (dug) from the factory area and have found other examples later on. A quick description of them, but have no photos yet. These are what most would say are "Clear Clowns" and or "Clear K&Ms" (BUT) these have the early NLR internal ribbons of yellow and red. Most think of these as the "Sunset" external ribbons, but the examples i have are internal. I have no idea on the time date on these yet. A clear bubbly base with internal ribbons of yellow and red, with a very distinguishable U shape to the red ribbon inside that is transparent red over riding a yellow ribbon. I am very leary of using the term (experimental), so many want to jump on this but i feel that these examples could possible be an early NLR prototype. I also have a (suspecion) that these prototypes could have been used as examples for Marble King for there "Cross Thru" cateyes. Seeing how close that Peltier at their end of their reign of production and Marble King being freshly starting up, having developed their style of marbles from examples of other makers types. A lot of my own speculation and theory and ideas that i have wondered about for years, looking and finding examples of what i (thought) might have been produced from one company to another. I have a question also now that you brought this time slot up. When was the time slot Peltier produced the internal (SIX) ribbons marbles, after, before or during?? It's something I've recently gotten puzzled about, for some reason. Please keep me up on what you may discover!
