What's the green sparkles

What is the green sparkles in some jabos and a few other I see? Under magnification it is transparent green glass with dark green sparkles. Hope this not a stupid question.

Could very well be aventurine if  microscopic needle like sparkles.  If some of the new Jabos it could also be mica flakes but they are larger and flat,  Microscopic fracturing is also common in some glass types and looks like little sparkles(Akro red is one color)

With 60x magnification they look like little emeralds. Wish I could photograph it but no way with what I have.
