Akro Sunset Ace?

This one has been sitting around a while and I just found a very similar example online and they were calling it an "Akro Agate Sunset Corkscrew Ace."  Is that what this is?  Measures 1 inch.  Thanks!

When Akro made it, they called it a Moss Agate.  

Collectors have been known to call it an Ace.*   I can't remember ever hearing of a "Sunset Ace".  But it's a kinda cool name actually and I wouldn't be surprised to hear someone else say "Of course!".  lol

 

 

 

 

*The marble that Akro called an Ace was a completely different type, but a great number of Akros still call these mossy marbles Aces.

Thanks Steph.  I think it's a cool name too but I trust what I learn here more than what I've read elsewhere.  I'm going on the hunt tomorrow and with what I learned here I'm buying less and less junk these days!  Thanks again!

I was trying to be so careful.  Please change "a great number of Akros still call these mossy marbles Aces" to "a great number of Akro collectors still call these mossy marbles Aces".
