Interesting marble.

This is my first post!  I'm just a newbie to marbles and have started collecting. Have an interesting marble and would like help identifying this one.  Thank you very much.

I might add that it is glass.

Hi ... I'm not sure ... but seems likely that's a cold roll of some sort.  

What does the opposite end look like?

Hmmmm.  I was hoping I might see something I would clearly recognize as a pontil (which would indicate it was handmade).  

But no, my best guess is that it is an error marble.  A machine-made marble which  got twisted on a piece of machinery and then was a little too cool to get completely rounded as it went down the rollers.
