The first is a multi stage?

The second is cool with the orange outer strands

#2 is a divided Ribbon core, not sure if there is another core inside the ribbons on #1 or not, if not a really nice Divided core also with some excellent twist action, verry symmetrical. Both divided Ribbon core from what I can make out from the pix but like I said not positive on #2 ?  Might be a tri level (three stage) my brain is on underdrive tonight

The first one is definitely a 3 stage divided ribbon core, the second looks to be a decided ribbon core but only a 2 stage.

I may be wrong but it looks like a white core then colored ribbons the banding.

the white is the backside of the ribbons showing in the foreground, that's what i was having trouble with, i don't think there is a white core there just a view of the backside of the ribbons from the opposite side
