Try backlighting it, or under-lighting from the bottom up.
It looks like an interesting marble but we have to see it to give any opinion here.

Just reflections of the photo box. I'll take photos of it in natural light. I'll also backlit too

I've changed the photos. First photo shows the pontil. I've also backlit with 365

This could be it. 
You will find these with flats spots from being used over the many years---pretty cool item.
These "table foot marbles" also showed up quite rarely with "Fancier Germans".
Generally—not a rule, these will show a slight glow under UV light.
