  1. Size is around 1". White base with blue. It had a striped Pelt look to me at the cut mark. Context wise - it was part of an original untouched group that was all CA's - a few Akro's, fewer Pelts, and some German handmade glass. See this post: Christensen Agates from the group
  2. A new friend of mine brought in his grandpa's marbles for me to look at. You hear this so often....usually it is a group of cats with all MK's and some Vitros. This time the group was all CA's with some Akro's, Pelts, and a few German handmade glass.
  3. I was finally able to make some marbles again recently. I think these turned out pretty nice. They all measure right around 1". All were hand gathered and formed on the Miller marble machine.
  4. Decided to offer a small group of 5 graduated in size. 13/16", 3/4", 11/16", 21/32", and 5/8". Brian's ebay auction.. I had to relist this item because there was an error with my paypal address for some reason......
  5. I spent two days this week cleaning the rollers on the Miller machine. This made a big difference on the surface finish! So many ideas...not enough time!
  6. Just listed another group: New group of ebay listings
  7. All made on the Peltier Miller marble machine - killer oxbloods, micas, and dichros. Brian's Ebay marble auctions...
  8. Oxblood with mica machine made.... and oxblood with turqoise machine made.
  9. Just listed about a dozen on ebay - this is a group shot of the offerings. Brian's marble offerings on ebay
  10. Made these yesterday on the Peltier Miller machine- 8 different types. Electric bubblegum and lapis blue base....
  11. I put one on ebay...will add some more later. http://m.ebay.com/itm/Brian-Graham-machine-made-glass-marble-oxblood-Miller-marble-machine-/152118346159?nav=SELLING_ACTIVE
  12. Yes on the gold making the ruby pink color. The other colors are all from silver.
  13. On a lighter note....the title of this thread is cracking me up.
  14. A few from yesterday. I have pretty much removed the shear marks.
  15. It does say "patent applied for". I imagine it just fell into the crack when someone was working on the machine. I wish I had a parts washer - there is so much grease and oil with the glass bits - solvent is the only way to see what is in my bowl of goop. I also found a small chain link. Probably part of a glass feeder device.
  16. The marble machine metal castings have a slot and void built into them. I was cleaning out the slot and this popped out...a mens buckle along with a bunch of glass pieces. What Pelts would these be? Anyone recognize the buckle, age, etc?
  17. Some spheres from today....figuring out how to get nice cut lines.
  18. I just uploaded it...Thanks Steph :--)
  19. Had an hour to experiment today. Not bad for only my second try at it. These are made from my personal recipe silver opal & oxblood. Getting the cut lines to smooth out still needs some work.
  20. This is the largest MFC Cornelian that I know of - came from MFC employee Harry Heintzelman. I cannot remember exact size but seem to remember that it was around 1.5". At the factory site I only found 7/8".
  21. That looks interesting - kind of what I have already been doing
