They’re certainly all represented in the Akro mossie box photos included in your article … but the same colors and shapes also seem to be present in the Alley and Master box photos … at least to my eye.

It is the consensus that Alley didn't make patches.   The patches found at the Alley site which excited so many of us are probably Akro.

So that leaves Akro versus Master.  When I was looking at your marbles I tried to see the seams.  Not all the seams were front and center, but since I already gave you a bit of a hard time on your Wedding Cake question, I tried to get a good feeling for your mossy patches without asking for more pictures.  ^_^  And the feeling I got was that the seams fit the typical Akro pattern more than the typical Master pattern.

  2. Not saying it isn't. Something about the clear-looking area over the sliver of color held me back, but mostly  I don't like to give an ID based on just one side of a potentially uncommon marble.

More people will be by to give opinions.

It's a late 1990's MK. A little confusing as it's blended and wavy like a Vitro. MK made them in 5/8" and larger like that in a few other colors too. Here's the 3/4" to 1" Bolders in blending Blue and white, Green and blue and Orange and yellow. There's some almost straight but overall, they're wavy like Fire's..:

This is a sample sent to me by a distributor for an opinion which is one of the reasons why I wrote 'Experiential.'

Two thumbs up.  Makes total sense for the vane shape and colors.

  4. I don't know.  Vitro or Marble King.  This pic shows why my thoughts immediately went to MK.   Your vane structure isn't  yelling vintage MK at me, but that's where I have my marbles with similar colors.  And your vane shape is  not yelling classic Vitro at me either.  So ?

  5. ???

The ones that looked like All-Reds but don't have red are Tiger Eyes.

Not sure if all the big ones had names.  Aren't some from generic "shooter" packaging?  (But I am out of the loop on the names collectors have come up with.)
