  1. Those do not look early to me. I'm talking about the ones from the 1940's.
  2. I think Vacor on the last guy. I don't know what the earliest Vacor cats looked like. Have been curious.
  3. It's a puzzle to try to navigate all the holes without marble (or ball bearing) falling in.
  4. It looks quite bricky to me. I am not seeing the reflections I would hope for with mica. But at that size, how would brick get into it, right?
  5. I have seen an 8 vane cat's eye sell for over $100. But that was an American-made one while I suspect that yours is Asian, which I doubt would be so valuable. However, the blue base glass is throwing me. I'm can't remember Asians with that base color. Maybe someone else will post and tell me "of course Asian".
  6. Welcome. In the one photo that I see, I don't see anything of significant monetary value. However, I am intrigued by this marble:
  7. Aw, what a wonderful picture.

    Jabo?

I would be surprised by a Jabo verdict.
  9. Does this mean you now know how much a Champagne runs?
  10. I have some peewee patches in a Rosenthal box. I hoped they would turn out to be Alley. Pretty sure the verdict was unanimously Akro by the end, including a vote from the dearly departed Ron Shepherd.
  11. I _think_ I've seen a swirly plastic one before. Maybe one ???

    Vacor ??

I _think_ Asian though on these new ones, not Mexican. (So I think not Vacor.)
  13. Agree with Vitro. I wouldn't call it an All Red though. Maybe in the Tiger Eye family?

    Whispler ??

That seems a good guess, but I might not have guessed it with that bright green. Fwiw, does it do fun things under blacklight?
  15. Hi Brian. Welcome back! This sucks. Is Shawn someone on Facebook? That's the wild wild west for scammers.
  16. Hello, Art. Welcome. How wonderful that you are there for your grandmother. I'm sad to tell you though your marbles are indeed old -- early to mid 1900's -- they are not the kind which would be worth a great deal even in mint condition. It looks like some child very much enjoyed playing with yours. So with all the hit marks that I am seeing, they are worth very little beyond the sentimental value.
  17. How many twists are you counting on that piece of candy?

    Vacor ??

    Absolutely Vitro.

    Vacor ??

More pics please. Try to show us the ends of the ribbons. Not a lot of sun shining through.
