  1. Mostly modern and common. They couple which might not be aren't standing out to me as very valuable. I am not able to make out what kind of marble is in the top left of this image. The red and white halfway down is also different and I can't tell if it would be older or newer. However, even if older, it's not standing out as something to sell individually. Where are you hopoing to sell them?
  2. So very interesting. It's amazing how much history a small toy can have, and how the history of a toy can be intertwined with the history of a country's economy and its people. I've thought this often about America. I see it is so in Japan also.
  3. Nice effort. MFC did come in at least 0 through 10. Here's are pages from an advertising booklet. I _think_ there are vintage slags in sizes greater than 1 1/8, but my memory on all of these things has grown fuzzy.
  4. Not sure I've heard of that before. What's the general idea of it?
  5. I'm rootin for you!
  6. Here? p.s., nice big popeye!
  7. Not yelling Vacor to me. My first thoughts were Akro and Jabo. No useful information from me.
  8. Thank you. I never would have guessed the stripeys were so early. Winnie said that she had a for sure pre-WWII box of marbles with them, but still I couldn't wrap my head around it. These days my memory is not serving me very well but I will try to make a place for this.
  9. Like why did they pay Christensen so much for his patent? 0_o And how did I get the idea that he made such great bearings so efficiently? Oh well, he got the money, we got the marbles, and I had a magical bike ride beside my lake.
