Hi. Welcome. If you love it, that's the value. I call it a logo marble. Sometimes an organization or company will specially commission logo marbles with a legitimate manufacturer who has legal permission to use the images. Most often though for the past 40 years or so, it will be an Asian manufacturer who did the work, without legal permission, and thus for much lower cost than the companies who obtain legal licenses. I don't recognize yours, so just take my answer as general background.

I could see why someone would think Peltier based on the colors and textures, but I'm not seeing the ribbon structure I would expect in a Pelt.

I'm still sticking with Alley but I will call in a swirl guru. @cheese?

big beauty

It does help. With that base glass and the obsidian black I think Alley Agate. Wait for other opinions!

Hi. Welcome. What diameter is your marble?

Maybe one of the modern contract runs. @Nantucketdink?

Nice addition for the marblearium.

If there is aventurine in that green, it is not coming through on my computer screen.

Minnesota and Wisconsin Shows in September!!
Steph replied to Melissa's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
I never thought I would go to a show. I am getting closer to being willing/able to travel. This year? I am not thinking so, but I'll take myself by surprise whenever it finally happens. -
Akro Moss Agate on the red/white here.
-
The blue and whites could all be Akro Moss Agates. I don't recognize the brown one and it's not a view I'm comfortable with ID-ing from. I suppose it could Akro also. The other thing I would consider is Vitro.
-
Confident of Akro Blue Eggyolk on the right. Not sure if we have Akro or some more traditional West Virginia swirl on the left. The blues and whites are so close between the two marbles that I am really wondering about the left possibly also being Akro.
-
From that time period, I am reasonably sure that you have hand-faceted aggies. There were some onyx marbles in California rounded by machine, but I think your agates are from Germany and hand-faceted.
-
Top right here is an Akro Limeade. Middle could be an Akro Blue Eggyolk (something is making me hold back on saying for sure with just one view). Bottom left is an Akro Oxblood marble whose collector's name I don't recall. Those are are valuable marbles today.
-
You have a lot of Akro Agates, the most popular glass marble of the 1930's. And you have a few West Virginia swirls.
-
These are stone aggies. These were prized by marble players in your father's day.
-
I'd put them in with my stash of unidentified West Virginia swirls. But the swirl gurus are getting better and better these days, so I wait to hear what they say.

How sure are you about no smaller? I seem to recall seeing assorted sizes. I recall being surprised and covetous. But that recollection is from about 15 years ago and is not to be trusted.
