Yes I also believe it is Alley. One of the “Yellow Ravens” from a miss thought a couple years ago. -
Yes they are JABO Classics. Yes JABO Classics can be attributed to specific runs too just like contract era marbles. You are working off of misinformation to begin with, which is extremely common in the marble world. Start your search in 2003 instead of 1998 and you will do better being able to accurately attribute your marbles. I can’t explain the 5 year difference in the sellers memory, but it’s a false memory of sorts.

Think it may be Champion. Definitely not JABO.

JABOs range from 5/32 to 1 3/8

I like the ET Crystal Run. I think there were some excellent marbles in the run. You have a couple of the ones I like in your mix.

Davis ? Jackson? Wire Pull ? Swirl ? thx pros!
Nantucketdink replied to DHUNNIE 27's topic in Marble I.D.'s
This is a tray of dug on-site Jackson’s The pic is horrible, I have added a few good ones since taking this pic, …but it still should help some folks be able to ID some Jackson’s. -

It is possible this is a JABO Classic -
I agree that Cairo is likely

Not quite a train full but a pretty cool find
Nantucketdink replied to akroorka's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
I am not worthy of sharing any Thoughts on these as my Akro knowledge is minimal in my opinion. Sweet boxes though -
I think these are wannabee mica look-alikes?
Nantucketdink replied to The Nickel Guy's topic in Marble I.D.'s
If they are mica marbles they are likely old. -
The original looked orange to me instead of amber, but we all see colors differently
-
have you seen a Veiligglas with white in a transparent orange base before? I havent seen a transparent orange base Veiligglas before. Lots of wonderful orange and white in clear variants though. Would be excited to see one if they are out there
-
Yes i believe the original is likely a JABO from 2010(or 2009). I would need to really look at my marbles to pin it down specifically
-
It is not a JABO

SPN-what country are you in?

These are mostly opaque Whisplers in my pic here, but there are still a few transparent ones in the smallest size for you to see some of their colors.
