Last week was very enjoyable, especially if you like catseyes. It has been drudgery and also thrilling sorting 1000s of marbles! Here's a sample of the some of the best mibs. The ratio of catseyes to more collectible marbles is about 8:1. I've listed some Ravenswoods on epay and have more to go. Some of the most beautiful Masters Tiger Eyes I've ever seen. Peace out! Thanks, Al. So many contemporary makers with the same initials... cool! -
I'd say CAC. The 'K4' is kinda odd. A contemporary handmade?
-
Kinda looks like a 'burnt' version of the Ravenswood red, white, blue.

Gorgeous! The 'U' seams on both poles speak Master Marble to me.

My Dad (gremlin**) used to sell those on ebay. I don't know what his source was.

From his website, "Carl started making marbles in 2006 and began signing them in January of 2008". None of these have the "X" on them. All 11/16".

Yes, indeed! Very swirly!

My thought as well. The colors are beautiful pastels which is what Akro didn't use (to my knowledge, anyway). Thanks for a 2nd.

I guess I'm not identifying the lavender and white one properly. The colors of lavender and ivory (the one on the left) are Vitro. Yes?

Awhile ago I posted the red marble and it received a unanimous "Jabo". Sorting through other marbles, I found the same pattern on the lavender Vitro. Are both Vitro?
