  1. The gal in the marble may represent Jenny Lind, but here's a pic of this beautiful lady.
  2. And a it's a shooter at 31/32"!!! Such an amazing, stellar, sweet marble (and other adjectives that I use in auction titles). Dig deep if your a rare Peltier collector. This one is soooo worth it.
  3. Alley, Cairo, Champion... hmmm... Would either of you care to make a case for the makers of these marbles? Why Cairo? Why Alley? Why Champion? I seem to learn marbles much better in descriptive terms. TIA
  4. OK. I finally understand one more little piece of marble identification! It's a long process, but worth it. By the way, the marble I posted photos of has a piece of frit on the surface. It shows in the third photo from the top in the lower-left to left-center of the marble. I thought that's what defined a "tater bug".
  5. Thanks! That was my first guess but the colors were throwing me off. I've never seen purple / pink on an MK before, but that's not saying much!
  6. Well, I suppose it's just pretty glass then. I found 20 pounds of cullet in a box from my Dad's collection and there were no labels on them. I'm listing quite a bit tonight.
  7. I like this four color piece. Maker? Anyone?
  8. Definitely reminds me of Pelt Rainbos. Yes, additional opinions needed and welcomed!
  9. At 7 o’clock is a translucent Alley Agate flame. At 11 o’clock is a Thornburg. One of four that I picked up at an antique show.
  10. Umm… just asking a question that I didn’t know the answer to. Sheesh…
  11. Today’s marbles from the Weber County Antique Show… so much fun, so tired… last photo shows the two day gathering. 😉
