Ann, here are other views of the ones with green and brown ribbons. I held them in direct sunlight, even looked at them with my lupe. But I honestly can't get oxblood out of them.... but maybe you could.

I was able to shoot these in a more natural afternoon light for as much detail. They are a very good representation of what exists.

I think I need to pack these babies up and come back here when I get to the fresh air of Oregon...

Sometimes their heads are full of marbles... but most days they are the best dogs on earth.
Just thought I would share since a few marbles in my collection apparently are "taters." And once we retire and re-settle, we will be adding a chocolate lab... and his name will be "Tater Bug." (Thanks Steph!)

Here you go. I did go outside in the last patch of sun and there is aventurine in the black. On both.

First of all, I have more cobalts... and greens... and reds... than most anything else. But especially cobalt. In the history of things, were they just more popular? More produced? Talking in terms of "every day" marbles not fancy ones like handmades or anything.
I am gonna hazard a guess at the big one... an Alley (like my big greenies earlier)? Then I will put myself on the line and say Akros for the others?

ALSO... most of what I post I actually have multiples of... at least in the color range, maybe not the manufacturer tho.
