  1. Cricket I really would like to have the one on left side top picture if your friend decided to sell it I would appreciate a chance to buy it. Bud
  2. Thanks Steph It really was fun and I had the honor of meeting a few marble collectors. Paul, Gaylon, Al, and Sami just to name a few. Some of the collections were impressive and I got to see some in hand that I had only seen in pictures. Going to have to start saving up for the next one. I saw a few that I have so it was nice to see the price tags.
  3. Picked this up at the Seattle show. I don't know if it has a name.
  4. Thanks Paul! I really enjoyed your company and thanks for introducing me to all the other collectors. It was fun and educational to say the least.

    Earthquake

Were fine and thank you. Montana actually has alot of small quakes but the last good one was a 5.8. Some fault lines here and then there is Yellowstone. Hundreds of small quakes around that place. Lol, I refuse to go back to yellowstone, it's just wrong to have all that bubbling mud and steam coming out of the ground. It's a super volcano and could potentially take us all out. But not likely.

    Earthquake

The Montana earthquake was a dandy. Epicenter was about 80 miles from us and it really rattled the house.
  8. A crystal ball, Steph you crack me up! I'm sure you're right about it being contemporary and it looks nice in the window.
  9. This thing is huge! 2 7/8", double pontil. ???

  11. It would be a young pelt that was rolling thru the Orchard one day when he bumped into a orange citrus, as they sat visiting the young pelt got bit by a bumble bee, it made him angry and he became rebellious. He rolled into blue slag creek and as he cooled off his true colors began to shine thru. Whoever possessed this marble would be envied by all.
  12. They are still making marbles and they have a Facebook page. www.bolitastinka.com.ar/
  13. Bud walks the plank with head down. Slow, deliberate steps. Pausing at the end waiting for the ship to roll. The breakers lap at the plank and he steps off.
  14. Some really nice corks posted. Wondering if the thin line, 4 and five spirals are due to speed of the cup or viscosity. Thanks all
  15. Picked up a very nice handmade stripped opaque. I kinda just keep it in my pocket.

    Throwing pots

We use a room in the old barn, it's a mess but we can sling clay and slip all over the place and laugh while we do. Just love watching the kids play in the mud.

This is a nice kick wheel, you can get the plans from the link below. The grand kids and I dug clay from the yard, we're going to dig a hole and fire some things we make with wood. Simple fun! http://www.motherearthnews.com/diy/pottery-kick-wheel-plans-zmaz70ndzgoe
