    Akro ?

Indian Blanket or am I dreaming? I don’t think it’s a Lazy Cork.
  2. I have a marble in my collection that was identified as a Vitro Confetti by the later Bo Stiff. Right now I can’t find it. It’s on clear baseglass with multiple colors of grit. I think what sets it apart from a Vacor is that the Vacor’s grit is on the surface and the Vitro has a smooth surface. It’s probably 3/4ths or 7/8ths. I think there was a Lady that put together a short run to make these. Does anyone know more these about marbles ?
  3. I didn’t see the Pee Wee thread
  4. Does anyone have any examples. I don’t have any and am curious if they made any ?
  5. What does it look like if you back light it ?
  6. He promoted the Canton Show in December.
  7. Don’t hold me to this but I think I got mine from Galen Wilcox and he has some of the other ones.
  8. The other color combo was the complete opposite. Red base glass and yellow ribbons. I wanted one but I was lucky to get these.
  9. No one really committed to an ID on these 15 years ago.

One is 9/16th the other one is 1/2 inches
  11. I’ve always thought Pelt Slag. What do you guys think ?
  12. Thanks Ron ! Your explanation definitely answered all my questions.
  13. It’s my understanding that the sand each factory used to make marbles played a part in the quality of the glass. I’m under the impression that Pelt’s sand produced the bubbles because of the difference between the sand used in Ohio and West Virginia. Pelts also seem to have the most kiln debris in their clear base based marbles then the other factories. Was it the quality of the kilns and sand that made certain traits more trace able as an ID ? Or ?
  14. I’m Kokomo on this one. The red ribbons and baseglass bubbles are kinda different then Pelts. The red ribbons are the deciding factor for me.
