Backlight that one with a flashlight and the matrix might have cool patterns in it as well. Vitro has what I call Horse Hairs that show up ever now and then in the baseglass. Sometimes they are tucked up underneath a Conqueror’s helmet in the clear baseglass. Fun trait to start looking for.

Vienna’s either from a certain time period or 2 different factories. From what I remember Vitro made industrial marble. An example would be the marble in a spray paint can.

I hope I'm wrong but some sellers just use what I call Fill Marbles in boxes. I hope your's are not Fillers. The WVS crew will be able to tell you where your boxes are from. Cool Score...I like boxes.

WOW ! You sure got your money’s worth on those. If you got 100 marbles for $10 in that package. Looks like a good score if you got maybe 200 marbles in that goodie box for $20 ! Those are some killer mibs.

It’s my understanding that after WW1 the Germans made what are now know as European Hand-Mades. More colorful ribbons is one example. It was more of a marketing scheme to gain interest in selling marbles in Europe. So comes the name European German Hand-Mades. Anyone who can shed more light on this time line would be great. They could be post WWII. FWIW

Funny how you remember where you marbles came for. The one Red Angel I got from Lizzie was a solid listing as well. That one I had an anneal fracture you could only see with some Blood Lab Microscope.

Just packed up the Red Angel I got from you. People questioned your listing. Your listing was perfect. "One tiny flea bite". They questioned the pics you took and thought they were Photo Shopped. Shut that one down quick. It was as Solid Listing.

FWIW means For What It's Worth.....meaning I go first here and see if I'm close on the I.D. IMHO .....means In My Humble Opinion. Kinda the same thing. Sometimes you nail an I.D. and you don't need to end it with any of those. At that time someone might confirm it by responding with 2X That means they agree. Welcome ABOARD.
