  1. I lost track of all the Jabo runs. I have Ace's and Jokers that I just packed up. If anyone has these Jabos can any one tell me the years of the these runs. Pictures would be cool for the Newbies.
  2. Here are a few double ingots

Masters usually have a seam that almost comes to a point instead of a long seam like the one on your marble. The seam to me is more Akro or Vitro seam. FWIW
  4. I bought bags of those at the Woolworths on my paper route. Could very well be foreign
  5. One of my objectives here is to sell marbles to Newbies that can't go to shows and or hate Ebay. I'll probably be set up to sell marbles at the end of August. I've seen some really bad groups that Newbies are bidding on groups of 100 for $10-$20 dollar and they are junk. Not gonna happen with me.
  6. I get all that about Ebay. I know a Golden Turd when I see one and didn't know that Akro made Vitro MK Rebel German Hand Mades. It's actually so crazy.Just feel sorry for the Newbies buying groups of crap. So I'm not Pro-Ebay. I just want to know if people are looking at something like Etsy or any other sites.
  7. I'm curious what online sources you guys use ?
  8. I've gotta go with Master on this one. FWIW
  9. Could be a Gladden Vitro Shooter from the '70's FWIW We'll see if someone considers it a Cats Eye
  10. Awesome job not opening up the pontils. I've always been pro-polish on these Hand-Mades.
  11. This is my busted up blue tinted base. It was in a group of hand mades and I knew what it was so I got the group. Busted up and it can’t roll off the table.
  12. When Akro seams of transparent glass and opaque meet are really cool. Maybe there should be an Akro Eyelash thread.
  13. Akro ! Master seams come to a point in the seams. I always thought that was a pretty good trait to base my Master I.D’s on. But not always
  14. I think I might be able to take the edge off this one. Those 2 flags date a time in our history that tore our country apart.
  15. You don't ever let the American flag touch the ground. It's just an American tradition here. FWIW
  16. I think it has a little ketchup and mustard going for it and being twisted up is a plus. I have to go with Cheese on this one.
  17. Good call Steph. I always like the sloppy slags with a tail
  18. I like the twisties. Nice Pelt
  19. Listen to Ric...my post was late
  20. Now that you have retired and are going to LTD...”Liv’n The Dream” mode and are going to fish I think you need this book I have. I even signed it. Congratulations.
  21. You are right. Your first and second pictures are clay marbles. Most of them in your group are called Benningtons and were made in Germany prior to WWI so they are old. Other Members will be able to give you more information on those. You have glass marbles that are very fine examples of different machine made marbles made by different factories here in the U.S.A. and other Members will help you with those as well.

    Help

I'm totally amped up that this one popped up during sorting and moving today. The cool thing is when I move my Mibs into my new house I can see them everyday. No more boxed up marbles. Right now it's a quick look and box them up. I do know that while I'm sorting and packing I want to sell my Akro and MKs. Here's why and it's simple. If Peltier made a truck and Akro made a truck I'd drive a Pelt truck. Kinda like driving a Dodge,Ford or Chevy. I am in so need of an MA meeting.
