  1. I’ve always thought Pelt Slag. What do you guys think ?
  2. Thanks Ron ! Your explanation definitely answered all my questions.
  3. It’s my understanding that the sand each factory used to make marbles played a part in the quality of the glass. I’m under the impression that Pelt’s sand produced the bubbles because of the difference between the sand used in Ohio and West Virginia. Pelts also seem to have the most kiln debris in their clear base based marbles then the other factories. Was it the quality of the kilns and sand that made certain traits more trace able as an ID ? Or ?
  4. I’m Kokomo on this one. The red ribbons and baseglass bubbles are kinda different then Pelts. The red ribbons are the deciding factor for me.
  5. Absolutely! I’ll through this out there. Maybe a Miller Swirl.
  6. I like the faceted agates you have in the top of your pic.
  7. I’ve always liked the syrupy base glass and surface on these Vitros.
  8. Man ! I’m 0-2 today. Kick the can and have’n fun.
  9. I’m saying Akro on that one. I’m not sure if it has a name.
  10. I believe pics 9 and 10 are Mega Marbles
  11. One more before Thursday! Good old Corn Husker on the cob.
  12. I know it’s Sunday but I had to post these.
  13. Finally found my faceted agates ! I’m a happy guy 🚀
  14. Check your slags. You might find some road and tunnels. If so you just nailed down a CAC slag ID.
  15. Tommy ? Do you see the Road and Tunnel
  16. Does anyone know if this has an ID name ?
  17. Your first marble a CAC and is really cool. The second pics show the road and tunnel trait known to CAC. Turn the seam horizontally to the right and let your imagination run wild 👍
