  1. Do larger marbles like these which are 1" in diameter have any value even though they are cateyes? Thanks
  2. I have found that many of my marbles glow different colors when subjected to a black light. I understand the bright green. I was wondering what causes some to glow orange, red and purple? Thanks for your input. I appreciate it.
  3. The mib in the 11:00 o'clock position looks to have a bug in the marble. The center mib looks like some type of trash in it. The 12:00, 1:00 and 7:00 mibs seem to have an orange substance I can't make out. The Picts don't show it very good. I'm going to try and focus on the orange stuff to try and make it more visible. what do you make of these. How old do you think that bug is?🙂
  4. Here's a few more of the blue marble. Thanks for the help guys
  5. Is this view any better?
  6. These were mixed in with the cat eyes. What can you tell me about them? Thanks a bunch.
  7. I added a few more to the group, do they belong together?
  8. I've seen a few posts concerning cat eyes that don't seem to be very positive. They seem to be the least popular. Are they not as valuable as some of the other kinds? What about these here? What value would they have if any? Are they all from the same maker? Thanks for your input.

    Bananas?

Hey Steph. Thanks again for the help. The marble you were asking about does have a darker greenish base. That's actually something I've been wondering about. Why do some of the clear marbles have different tinted base colors? Is that usually on purpose or is it just a by-product of the production process? Are there some base colors that have more value than others? Maybe I should have put this in another forum category. Thanks for your input.

    Bananas?

What about these? Are they considered to be cat eyes?
  12. Thank you Steph. I appreciate your help. I've been going through these marbles that I thought were cat eyes, now I'm not so sure that's what they all are. I'll be posting some groups of them that look similar I think. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
  13. These marbles are 1" in diameter. They are some wicked looking marbles to me. Can you tell me anything about them? Maybe who made them. Are the designs on the surface of the clear ones done on purpose? Would they have any value? Anything else would be a big help. I thank those of you who have been patient with a rookie collector.
  14. A couple better views of the top middle blue marble. I appreciate y'all.
  15. Hey Steph and Al, I appreciate your help. Here is a couple more views of the third one in the top row. Thanks
  16. I'm going through some marbles that I think are cateyes but not sure. A little info on the ID and possible value would be appreciated. Thanks for your help.
  17. Thanks for the good info. I'm about to post some cat eyes (I think) to see if what I have is of any value. They may not even be cat eyes.
  18. Nice looking marbles Steph. As I started going through those cat eyes I have found some interesting ones. I will post some for some input on them. Thanks
  19. Hey Steph. Thanks for the input. row 1#2 is just like you described it. 4 white veins with the alternating pattern you described. row 2#1 has 6 ribbons. Thanks Big Indian and Tallnbald76 for your input.
