  1. Thanks a lot Al. That helps. I will see if I have any like that. Those are some neat examples you have there. Great picture taking too.
  2. Are there any cat eye marbles that have value and if so what would they look like. Do larger ones have any more value than smaller ones. Say those that are 1"+ verses 1/2" versions? Thanks for any input.
  3. In row 3 #3, what caused the pit and how does it impact the value of the marble? Thanks for all your help.
  4. Here are a couple more views. This brings out the color pattern a little better in the small cat-eye. Thanks Steph.
  5. A couple of these I've shown in other groups. I gave a different view that Steph had asked for. Thanks for id'ing them for me. I will be separating these for a while. Again , trying to separate those that might have some value. Thanks
  6. Marbles 2 & 3 on the top row and # 2 on the bottom row are in very good shape, while the others have condition issues. There are metal bands around 2 in the middle row that can't be removed. Can you tell me what kind they are and any other info. I'm trying to seperate the ones that might have value from those that don't. Thank you for all your help.
  7. Any info. is appreciated. Maker, possible value if any. Are there egg yolk marbles in this group? Thanks for your input.

  12. Thanks for your input Ed and Steph. Am I posting too much? I am greatfull for your help.
  13. These marbles seem shattered on the inside but don't show damage on the outside. What would cause that? Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
  14. What type marbles are these? Do they make mibs out of rock? Would any of these be considered Native American made? Do they have any value to collectors? Thanks for your input. I may have to post a better picture.
  15. What about these marbles? Do you know who made them and possibly a range of what they might be worth if they have any value.
  16. Are these called liberty marbles or do they have another name?

    White marbles

Thanks Steph. You've been a lot of help to me and I appreciate it. I bought this huge collection of marbles recently at an estate sale. It's probably not huge compared to y'all that have been doing this for years. It was literally four 5 gallon buckets of marbles. The fellow never played with them. He just stored them in his attic. Half of them are cats eyes I think. I knew nothing about the collection of marbles. I thank you for your patience with all my questions. Your study hall has been a big help too. Thanks again.
  18. Are there any plain white marbles that have any value? If so, how would I differentiate them? Thanks for your input.
  19. I tried my hand at picking out mibs made by the same company. Give me a grade on how I did. Not to confident I'd pass.
