  10. Thanks Steph. You think #2 might be a Cairo swirl?
  11. Thanks Galen. I hope I got that name right.
  12. These also fluoresce under a black light. I'm gonna try to put some on eBay tomorrow if I don't get to frustrated. How do you determine a starting price on your marbles? Do you put a reserve on your marble auctions? Thanks for your help
  13. Hey thanks for your input on these marbles. I'm trying to seperate out all commons. All of these fluoresce under a black light. The maker and maybe some idea of their popularity. Thanks
  14. These may not be expensive marbles, but this group is in great condition. How old would they be? Number 4 is an odd looking marble. What is that that's on the inside of it? Thanks for your input. Are these commons also?
  15. Thank you Steph. I thought #2 might belong with the cateyes.
  16. These have me stumped. Think I know #1 but the others won't tell me what they are. Thanks for the help and again if you will let me know if they go in the commons pile. Thanks
  17. I'm not sure that these are swirls, especially #2. If you can ID them for me and let me know if they go in the common pile I'd appreciate it. Thanks
  18. I know it's impossible to give a correct value on anything that's not sitting in front of you. At least for me it would be. Just some general idea helps. I've seen some pricing on some other sites. I try to get some idea from them if they are sold, but sometimes there seems to be a significant difference. I guess it all comes down to condition like everything else. Is that about right?. Thanks again for your input. I'm greatful.
  19. Thanks. I appreciate it. Here is a few more views of #6. I see a little bit of black but not much. I know it's not a value marble, I'm just trying to determine when oxblood is present. I wouldn't ever want to portray it as something that it's not. Thanks to both of you for your help.
  20. I was wondering who made these and if any of them have oxblood coloring. Thanks for all your help.
  21. I am beginning to recognize traits of the type of marble but determining the maker is hopeless. But I'm going to keep at it till I get it. thanks for your help.
  22. Hey Steph. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Marble #4 doesn't glow under a black light. After seeing this view, do you still go with a carnelian? i think I got the seam on #5. If not I'll try again. I'm really greatful for your help Steph.
