I like this thread too. Ive heard a few songs here i wasnt familiar with. Kali Bahlu only made the one lp with 4 songs on it. Well worth the youtube time. I have a feeling she would be very interesting to have a cup of tea and conversation with. That original lp is very collectable and goes for big bucks.
Yes. Now that you say that about the left, makes more sense. The right i always believed to be a rooster too. Thanks Al. Here i hope is a slag pic, that probably would have been good to add as a third in original.
My tray of moderns. I like them. Feel they have their place in a display.Same time i do not want to be mistakenly calling them vintage. So i cull the herd over and over to make sure
Some of those fandangled Vacors can be tricky. I have a red rooster. I know what it is. But everytime i look at... i wonder. It was a good time anyway the marble rolls.
Hi. Photo looked better on my phone. The ones im thinking do have the thick icing but also all way through (pic) Alox,Cairo. I could easily be swayed to Japanese. It does appear upon closer inspection there may up to 4 varities in this lot (top pic)
My apologies stephenb wasnt trying to overtake your thread. And of course Steph's ever graciousness of keeping our marbles in line.
Splitting hairs helps fine tune the process. My bag of similar brown ones. I actually think they might not all be Alox. There is differences in the lot. Cairo did enter my thinking on some of them. I was going to revisit them at some point.
That is a nice blue. I have some brown glass ones similar, i always thought of as Alox. ...im getting myself into real murky waters though Cairo,Alox. .. best wait for another persons input.
Yes i think your right again. The seam line looked Master to me. The green glass though is likely more telling. Plus i think its a fat cat eye. Dont think Master made cats?
Yes. Thats a great website. Its the one thing about marbles, i have to keep in mind .The variances within certain models. Your assistance has been invaluable. π
