Thank you for the assessment, I only collect them in memory of my beloved brother who was an avid collector as a boy in the fifties before I was born, he died as a result of injuries sustained in Vietnam, so it’s for him I continue the tradition. However, I am awaiting a bilateral lung transplant so paying too much is my only concern. I love them, they are like little pieces of art, the following photos, albeit still not great are of alleged Christensens I have purchased. Thank you for your help, sir, it is most appreciated.

I was told the cobalt blue swirl in the second photo was a valuable Christensen. In that case, they aren’t old or collectible, yes?

I’m going to post two groups of marbles, that are a bit better, I am so shaky from my lung medication, I couldn’t do the professional photos like yours, mine were off center, total disaster! Yours are beautiful.

Thank you so much.

Hi, I am Gina and new to collecting. I need help desperately because I am not sure if I am buying a vintage marble or not; it seems some people are selling items that are not what they say they are on eBay and finally, there are so many kinds. I have read the fundamentals about identification and am confident about some. However, I have spent a great deal of money with one collector who seemed reputable, but now I’m questioning why I got so many good “deals” and if I’ve been duped. Thank you all for having a site to help collectors. I wish I had found you a few hundred dollars ago! Thank you, Gina

That’s beautiful. I have more alleged Christensens to share. But first I took 5 angles of the alleged sand.
