Pretty funny Ric--of all the names--this one sticksš. "Rotten Robin"--love it! Marble--On!!

This is a hard, well cooked , glass marble that shows some damage from play. (The glass stayed heated for quite awhile before it was poured to alliviate the bubbles which made the glass more prone to damage) A few moons but not too much in damage. These marbles were made to compete with stone agates and clays many years ago. The color purple is not too common in a Master Made Marble but it does show up. I would lean towards a Master Made Marble here--just because of the damage--which was never quite lethal with this one. I have seen a lot of Masters today--love it! I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more-- Marble--On!!

A Master Marble Sunburst style ~ ID-ed Thanks all
akroorka replied to The Nickel Guy's topic in Marble I.D.'s
It is and I agree with your ID. Pick it up and feel it, Masters have a great feel to them--like silk. I may be mental here--I just love to feel a good Master Made Marble. All opinions are appreciated--as always. Marble--On!! -
Why does my nose always run when I look at these? There is some opal involved here. Nice stuff Fire! Yours may be a Ravenswoodānot a snotty and not a CAC imho. @Ric knows his RavensāI just suck at Raven ID. MarbleāOn!!

MK is the best call here but--I would love to crack it open--Not for sure--everš. Those are Akro colors--not the seams for sure--but? Marble--On!!

I'm guessing a Heaton player marble? SOLVED Nice Jabo Classic
akroorka replied to The Nickel Guy's topic in Marble I.D.'s
My first thought was Heaton on this one. The "Tongue" of glass in image one convinced me. The colors are right on for sure. I just suck at WVS ID and I do not blame you one bit for your original ID. There are many Jabo classics that defy any ID. Marble--On!! -
Not a "Sunset" imho. I am reaching too fire--a "Multicolored Rainbo"--just two colors involved. Nice find! Cool Marble for sure. Marble--On!!

The red white and black one may be an Akro Corkscrew. I would keep them as they are--in a jar by the window. cool stuff! Marble--On!!

Well, the bag has a seam on the back--this is an older bag imho. 100 count is rare for sure. Shill bidding is still a thing out there. The seller is not a marble guy. Ifff--- I collected MK--$80 would be my limit here. Nice--"not buy". Marble--On!!

These tiny ones have an act by their own. I cannot disagree with @Ric but his one has Akro cutlines imho. It is a cute little "Thang"--do doubt.. Marble--On!!

These little round things are just that--they make you feel better--for some odd reason that I will not speculate on. (magic?) MarbleāOn!!

Silver Oxbloods usually do not show any UV response--I have a hard time finding one that is not beat up let alone one with UV reaction. Great marble! Marble--On!!

Nice one Ric. No spectacles are needed here. I love a good-sized marbleāI might have a cousin to this oneālove it. MarbleāOn!!

Cool Marble Fire--I would love to see it in handš. Marble--On!!

I love a good UV glow. I tried for years to finish a row of ten in a 100-count box of Akro "Prizenames", they were just basic yellow and--not quite white. (these are quite hard to find actually) You will be amazed at all the different glass that Akro used and included in these simple-looking marbles. UV light spoke to me then and helped to get a good row that is consistent. It took some time but this is collecting-nuff said. Backlighting and UV light are valuable tools to include in your arsenalāalso a good bright pen light light and someway to see closerāI use magnified spectaclesājust because. These bigger ones never act like the smaller ones and visa versa--the tiny ones have a mind of their own as well. MarbleāOn!!
