  1. These are all averaging just under 7/8". They are Vacor from a Mexican net. Just Killer imho. Marble—On!!
  2. I am surprised that you have no comments yet on this marble. First of all, I am not a name guy. I know a bunch of names but I never researched them. I have had a whole bunch of Peltiers cross through my hands and I am always looking for one like yours. They are rare enough that I have never held one. I would have done the same thing--post it and ask for opinions. If that is a tiny white stripe in your images--it may be disqualified as a "clown". This one deserves some more input from the "Peltheads". I will "bump it up" and call all peltheads for some help. Marble--On!!
  3. I will not argue with a Pelt ID here--the name eludes me. Marble--On!!
  4. This is an Akro Oxblood patch with two colors. Oxblood patches are not too rare--yellow ones are imho. I have never seen one with two colors involved---just killer! Marble--On!!
  5. This is just my opinion-- The boxes are quite common “jobber” or resellers boxes. “Jobbers” are folks that buy marbles from a variety of makers and resell them as their own or under their own brand name. The ones that are marked "Victory Marbles" are an early fake--these were more than likely made by someone who intended to deceive collectors a long time gone. I suggest that they were made prior to the USA bicentennial (1976) to attract buyers. There have been a bunch of marbles found in boxes of this type but these are the most common to be found. RWB Vitro marbles. A fake box that is old enough to be a collectable. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble—On!
  6. Pelt--a citrus varient--imho. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Very cool!
  7. Nice job Al-! Marble--On!!
  8. I agree with Vacor--no name---yet. Marble--On!! Here we go---"VELOCIRAPTOR" Nice find! Marble--On!!
  9. It looks real to me--- This may be what Akro was trying to achieve with the uv patches of this type. Marble--On!!
  10. Nice Pelt---for sure! Ketchup-Catsup--whatever and Mustard---For that size? Just really nice. Killer! Marble--On!!
  11. This one is a nice big Peltier Rainbo. It may have been sold under the Peltier "Big Boy" Lable in groups of four I believe. Nice find! Marble--On!!
  12. Those pairs of character marbles in packaging appear to be “Qualatex”. Qualatex was the precursor to Mega Marbles in the USA as far as I know—therefore—Vacor. More opinions are needed here. Nice group! Marble--On!!
  13. As I understand it, this was the device that "funneled" the glass into the cutters. It would have been the last thing that the molten glass in the kiln saw before being cutoff onto the rollers. A solid flow came through this thing, was cutoff and then the glass glob hit the rollers--making a marble. Very cool!! Marble--On!!
  14. Very nice! I corrected your quote Mojo—just because. The Master boxes like this may have come with a plain colored pouch but the Native American pouch is much more of a flash. The Peltier Native American was shown on box tops only, along with a few very, very rare items that may have been given to special employees. There is a spoon out there somewhere. These Master Marble pouches were included in a lot of boxes. They are more common than say an Akro Agate leather pouch—but still desirable. They go back quite a few years and were actually made on an old type of rubber. Nice pouch—Nice Box—Nice Marbles---for sure! Marble—On!!
  15. Nice one schmoozer! This one may be from Ottawa Illinois. Great find! Marble—On!!
  16. Welcome Al_B_Back! Show us some more. I think that Chad is right one. Marble--On!!
  17. I agree with Bogard-- Nice find! Marble--On!!
  18. Size matters here my marble collecting friend. Marble--On!!
  19. Start with Master Fire. Marble--On!!
  20. Left to right---- Master--Vitro---Peltier. Nice marbles!! Marble--On!!
  21. #2 is not a transitional. With that being said; I would not call any of them “cubscouts”. The one on the far right seems to be a Marble King made marble—maybe an “anemic “Cubscout”. It may be the lighting that is throwing me off here but the three on the left appear to have been “veneered” over a white base glass. I will throw that aside and consider my gut which says that they are Akro Agate, intended to be corkscrews. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble—On!!
  22. Still fun for sure! I agree with what you show being four colors. The brown is a bit weak but it is a Vitro color. This one is what it is—a nice big Vitro with four colors plus white. Now the meat and potato’s fact wise imho. This one more than likely came from the same run as many of the more desirable “Parrots”. The Parrots were a veneered marble meaning that the colors were not deep and they covered a white base glass. White showing is a no-no to collectors of this type (just a tiny bit will be accepted by many). This one is just a wanna-be—still a nice marble though! Imho—same run—just not enough coverage. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble—On!!
  23. Hmmmm, that sounds good right now.😁
  24. https://www.ebay.com/itm/226077568904?itmmeta=01HTTHMN5899MEA8G5NNV2RGEJ&hash=item34a345ef88:g:U3wAAOSwMdpmDe47 A very nice bunch of marbles!! The container is not too shabby either. Marble—On!!
