  1. Pieces of marbles always help with the ID of round marbles. Dump them out, take a few images and wait for a response. Sunlight is the best light. Welcome to "TheMarbleConnection" ronda. Marble--On!!
  2. The blue one is probably an Akro slag. The green one needs some more opinions--a very nice slag that one. Marble--On!!
  3. I think that I do too! Welcome CarterofMars! Pull up your socks and get studying. I still have not figured them out. Marble--On!!
  4. Killer Bottle Fire!! Marble--On!!

    Snotty?

A swirl or a slag--it meets both criteria. It does look "snotty" --love it. Nice images! It is not a CAC. A CAC "Snotty" will show a more amber version of white imho. Marble--On!!
  6. OK Fire, I see were you are going. This is a nice Rainbo. I checked my new book--- I would say that Superboy is almost an adult👍. Marble--On!!
  7. Yeh me too--with the snowblower and ice chipper😁. The dump sites produce a lot of "not what I would expect" marbles. If these all came from a dump site---they could all be MK imho. Marble--On!!
  8. Hey Jason, I get a few a week that need approval via my e-mail but they are always out of play when I look at the approval queue that I check under my log-in name in the upper right hand of the page. This is a mystery to me yet. I contacted Chad and he referred me to you. Marble--On!!
  9. I agree with all here. Chad still has a good eye--😁. The one that he describes has a blue tint to it. Slags are white and one other color--so two colors if you think that white is a color. I always did think this way. Marble--On!!
  10. That is a nice Peltier MCS imho. Keep it there for sure. Marble--On!!
  11. I agree with Al. You have to move your marbles off of the Lego Kit before taking an image. It does no good for your images and throws them off a bit. Try a Grey cloth like @Chad G.suggests. Chad suggested this stuff to me a few years back and I will never look back. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MNR63QC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Cheap and lots of it--it takes a photo very well. Search around, you may find different colors. Marble--On!!
  12. Welcome Sulosan! You have a a hand made marble there that was made by an individual--not a company. Many folks have stuck thier neck out and tried making marbles on thier own. Glass makers mostley. It is a pretty marble-- but without any ID it just becomes a common "Contemporary" marble in most cases. Thanks for sharing it and of course--- Marble--On!!
  13. Ummm----- are those Lego in the background? Marble--On!!
  14. We are all like crows, find something pretty and hoard it away. Nice group! I am not kidding when I say the bottom row second in from the right—the green “booger” looking one strikes my fancy. The one to the lower right of it appears to be a swirl---- from my point of view anyhow. Great images. Marble—On!!
  15. MK imho--nice one. Marble--On!!
  16. Consider Alley Agate "Carnival" here. Peltier did not own the market with blowholes--they may have been the best at it though. Marble--On!!
  17. Tracer is a term that was coined by the "King of Peltier" Gino Biffany (rip). He worked as a phone tech and these white lines that followed the other colored paths of a Rainbo reminded him of the wires that he worked with--they were called "Tracers". Some of the wires had solid colored stripes some had a different colored lines that were side by side with the original color. Generally a "Peltier Tracer" has white lines that are married to another color. Some may be weak but some may have the white follow all of the colors around the marble entirely. They are just a "Fancy Rainbo" but pretty hard to find. Marble--On!!
  18. I would call it a slag but not from the big four.( CAC, Akro, Peltier and CAC ) "Black"marbles come in a brown base, a base such as yours, deep amber, a very dark green color and of course black which is the rarest find imho. There are some colors that I may have missed such as blue. They look black in hand for sure--"backlight them all" is my motto. It may just be an Alley Agate. Good job--great marble! Marble--On!!

    Hey all

Good job Pieces! MK is what I see here. Marble--On!!
  20. Odd for sure Melissa! I have never seen these before. Are they Glass? KateSo? Lets ask @Mojo for an opinion here. I love the weird and cool. @Al Oregon is another that has held some pretty weird marbles in his life. I am bumfrickled here. Nice find--Whatever these are. If you are a seller post them please. Marble--On!!
  21. I think that Melissa is right on here. This is a big one no doubt. It reminds me of a "Buttermilk"--the base glass. They did not all come out perfect after all. We all see the images on the web or in books but with a few exceptions most folks will not waste time posting "What may be or what may have been". @Fire1981 and I will post crappy, beat up marbles, but we love them all and we are not ashamed to admit it. I love a good "crappy marble"--they were all mint at one time or another. Marble--On!!
  22. So--these came from a swamp?? Marble--On!!
  23. Size always matters. Nice marble and I think that Mellisa is right on. Marble--On!!
