Those were mine...the last of about 50 I've had for many years ( well maybe a few left if I dig around..). Glad you like them, they are cool with the faces on them. I've taken them to shows, but no one seems to notice them ??...I've given away some to kids at shows too. Will be at the Texas show this weekend!

Just an observation...the box appears to have an inset on the lower portion, that is, maybe, where another (missing) base for additional marbles could be placed over the existing marbles shown. There is space in the top that allows for that too. Cool box!

Its interesting that you mention that you make "bowling ball size" spheres of agate because I just bought one, an onyx 10", recently. I was wondering if the price I paid was a good one because I thought it was. Its the green with brown,rust coloring type of onyx, kind of a common type. I paid $160 for it and lugged it home. Was that a good price? As a marble collector of many years, I have always wanted one of these huge spheres but I had always seen them at over $300, so I jumped at this one. Thanks, Phil
