  1. I am with you on the color-front. I will say that in almost all my other blue vitros, the blue is a lighter, slightly more periwinkle shade and my Akros seem to have more of a royal cobalt blue.
  2. The catalogues keep freezing my computer lol--anyone have any thoughts as to whether theres a chance either of these are Blenko? Rough pontil marks.
  3. Hi, thank you! It does not glow, alas (how cool would it be if it did though).
  4. Yea it's a bummer that its broken, but I picked it up for 25 cents or something absurd, so it's still a score in my book 🤷‍♀️
  5. Yes I agree with @Melissa, that candlestick holder is awesome. Never seen anything like it. I'm curious if its European or American-does it have any marks on the bottom? That uranium frog is also really cool!!!
  6. Totally. My guess is the bottom is definitely newer than the stopper, but I doubt either pieces is newer than 1975 or so. Thanks for asking about the dauber, I wouldn't have thought about that. Do most of your wife's have the dauber intact?
  7. WOW it absolutely did not disappoint! Awesome thanks for sharing.
  8. Thank you!--it was fun pulling all of it out--the patterns really pop under the UV, but I promise not torture you all with every bowl and plate!
  9. This is both awesome and beautiful!!! I think they must have used a little vaseline yellow in a whiter base to make more of an ivory color. I have a little ivory milk glass pitcher that has the same glow (couldn't believe it when my flashlight hit it the first time!)
  10. Been back and forth about this one. Feel like the patch looks Akro, but the colors and bottom left pic look Vitro. .62 Thoughts? Thanks in advance
  11. WOW what a facemelter! I bet it would look very very cool with a flashlight under it.
  12. Thanks all, shame the face is busted up.
  13. Green and white slag? Cac? Akro? .61 Thanks in advance
  14. YESSSSSSS!!!! Thank you guys!!! The green in there is so fierce--wish there was more of it.
  15. P.S. here are 4 of my favorite things that glow: P.P.S I found these crazy pink plates in my stash and had to share sorry for spamming.
  16. I think there is a chance that the bottom could be more modern, as it does not glow and there is no etching. I think it is stopper is ground flat, but the uranium glow looks pretty intense for a modern piece. But what is modern? The etching detail is pretty fine/quality--though I am certainly not an expert. Thanks for taking a look!!! Post Update: After further inspection, it looks like the dauber actually was broken off.
  17. OOOO awesome collection @schmoozer Any chance you are able to tell if this perfume bottle is Czech?
  18. Thank you! and yea I definitely wasn't trying to call it a corkscrew--it ended up with the akro fancy corks bc they are close to the same color and my eyes are very broken.
