m!b$
The first one looks like an MK Poor Man's Watermelon, and the size would suggest that too.
david Chamberlain
What jive talk in the description hype. And 1/2".....what's with that! Blended thru 'n' thru. Reminds me of a time when I showed up at Amana with something I thought was a rare spectacular handmade and practically everyone was too embarrassed to tell me that I was going off half-cocked over the marble. Pity the poor soul who shows up with this one in his felt-lined marble case. David
bubba1
i've emailed them and they say a collector from the "OHIO BUCKEYE CLUB IN COLUMBUS, OHIO" told them it was a sandlayer and not to take less than $100 for it.....?? oh well, i suppose some sucker will jump right on it! lol d

semdot
Sounds like an honest mistake. People in general are very willing to believe they have a treasure. It does look a little like a layered sand, if you never seen one before.
bubba1
i agree that it is not an overt attempt to defraud, i've bought some marbles from them before and even it their ID's are not always on, they are usually really nice and they are very pleasant to deal with.
