Is that yellow and black veneered over a blue base?

Is the base transparent?

Okay .... that's different. I don't remember seeing one of those before or hearing a name for it.

Yellow over cobalt blue with lines of blue showing through ... that wouldn't be too surprising.

But yellow and black over blue? ??? I dunno ... but hopefully someone else will.

I have seen that kind called a Blue Boy.

I didn't even look at the picture, but the description says Blue Boy. I only know b/c I have one.
