Debit Card Scammed

ok, how many times is this going to happen to me...

I wake up today with a phone call from the bank. 800 plus worth of charges to my debit card. Card now deactivated and who knows how long until I get the funds back.. gotta love it..

Man, that really stinks.

Just in time for your 'joyous' holiday season, too.

I've always been pretty much a 'turn the other cheek' kind of guy,

but the more examples of this I hear about, the more I think the

people who do this stuff need a seriously painful response to their actions.

Never had it happen so far. I wonder if there is one of those copiers hooked on an ATM, gas pump or something else your using your card at.

At least you did not have to go through the nightmare of dealing with this so it does not ever happen again. Yep thats a burgler in the house

yeah thank god I am not in need of that money for xmas, can you imagine those on a fixed income and this happens to them? Its those dang hackers again.

that happened to me when I lived in Oregon,,,at that time the bank said it cost them more to "look" into it than it did to just reimburse the money,,the bank was Wells Fargo...no wonder it keeps happening,,nothing is done to the thief.
