Steph
I had these in my possession once upon a time. All I had at the time was a scanner for picture taking.

JVVmarbles
The blue/white looped opaque in the back on the right is German. Similar marbles have been dug in Lauscha. And I have found several Lightning strikes here in Europe. A friend of mine found over 25 in Denmark....so not sure they were made in China. Steph, do you remember when that picture was first taken (and/or posted)? Must have been a while ago in the 'scanner' days but I remember seeing it before in an old thread. Steph
I first posted them back in February of 2009. They were loaned to me for purposes of discussion. Found in a dumpsite in Shanghai. But the type of dumpsite was not known. Household garbage? Glass company site? Mercantile district? Not known.
I'llhavethat1
Wow, your memory is better than mine, thought it was earlier. Is that thread somewhere in the archives?
Steph
Wasn't my memory. I looked up the thread. I didn't want to link it though. It was from my wordy days. Quite a mess to wade through. But here's the link. http://marbleconnection.com/topic/10655-dug-confetti-other-frit-marbles-transitionals/
Steph
Here's a pic the marbles' owner took of some others from the lot.
BobBlock
I have a bunch of these as well. I bought them in Amana in the late 1980s or early 1990s. The story I was told, as Steph mentioned above, is that they were dug at a dump site in Shanghai and bought at a flea market there.
