sclsu
I think all 4 of these could be nova's, but obviously I have my doubts. I also haven't seen any pics of a nova with a white base and black ribbons. Sizes (from left to right in the group pic) 1", 15/16", 15/16", 7/8". Please let me know if more pics are needed. dbarney2012
My understanding is they did make a white nova. The white ones are prone to fractures. There have been a large amount of novas sold on ebay lately. CHEAP. One person alone has been selling lots of 15 for over a year now. They say there was only 7000 novas made but unsure if that was a total of white and orange. They are flooding the market lately IMHO Dennis
sclsu
The only white novas I have seen in identification guides have had blue ribbons, which is why I question it being a nova. Is there a specific size that the novas were? I know they didn't make smaller ones but I have seen a few for sale in different sizes. All the ones in my books are 7/8". Steph
Yeah, I think we can rule out the white and black.http://marbleconnection.com/topic/11385-so-whats-the-scoop-on-peltier-rootbeer-floats/?hl=novas#entry96178
migbar
There was blue on white base, and orange on white base, but not black on white base, as far as I know. Some Novas are also pictured in Steph's Study Hall > Mostly Pix - Peltiers > page 2 > post #

sclsu
So from what I looked at in the pictures (great work steph), only one of these seem to match the colors of a nova to me. It also has a v pattern to the ribbon. I will add some more pics.

ann
That's a Nova. In your first picture, the one with all four marbles in it, could we see other views of the first one and second one? Thanks . . .

ann
I'd say this second one is also a Nova:
