Al Oregon
#1 and #2 are slags. #2 most likely Akro. #3 looks Vitro but not positive.
Steph
I'd guess CAC on #1. Akro on #2. And Vitro on #3.
Mikie_T
Dang... I can see now that all ambers are not created equal. Are yall looking at the secondary glass to get an I.D.? Just fishing for a little discussion to help me understand. I see that the secondary glass in #1 is thinner than the secondary glass in #2. Mikie_T
Forgot sizes.... #1 = 5/8", #2 = 21/32" (just over 5/8"), #3 = slightly less than 5/8".... about 39/64" SO, all 3 are different sizes.
Steph
Looking at the seam in #1 to get CAC. Looking at the overall swirliness and lack of other stand-out features in #2 to get Akro. And #3 is just a whole different family. Looking at the seams and general alignment of color to get Vitro.
Mikie_T
Thanks so much Steph. I need to keep these things in mind so when I have other marbles that are similar then maybe I can put a name to those. (notice I said MAYBE....LOL) Mike
