Marbleneophyte
I think I have an old German handmade. It's a pee wee, 15/32. Looks to have a pontil on either pole. It's rough and probably bound for the glass heap, but I'm curious about the age, maker, etc.
wvrons
Age about 1860 to 1900-1910. Maker unknown. There were way to many people making the old hand mades to know who. When the value of the frank went to nothing, many children 12-16 yrs. old were making these. They were made in glass shops and also in private homes. rockgardenplants
@wvrons That is truly interesting info on the making of handmades, especially that children were making them! Kind Regards, James
