I will tread it cautiously Ric , i was just very curious if these could be the same as in tje book , i can buy these all for 20 / 30 dollar each , so i guess they are contemporary and then again , sometimes people dont know what they have and sell it cheap So one of the things i do for research is to ask a few opinions and see if this is worth it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Alan Posted August 23, 2021 Report Share Posted August 23, 2021 At least 3 of 4 of them are modern. The "7 cm wide" one is made of inexpensive cane out of Italy. I have the same cane in the basement. IMO they aren't worth chasing. Millefiori weights are about the complexity of the cane, complementary colors, precise positioning in the pickup and overall visual harmony. Look at vintage Sandwich Glass weights and you'll see the difference. Caution: Quality vintage paperweights can be quite pricey. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
