Would it still be collectible even with the damage?

I hate the term "collectable". A collection is what you make of it (and what you make it of).  If you only want mint mibs you will have a small and expensive collection. If the price is right get it and keep it 'til you find another. I think  Ox glass is kind of brittle so it damaged easily, so finding a better one may take some time, but it will happen. I predict that when you have a few better bricks you'll still be showin it off as "my first brick".  Thanks

PS, I only have 5 after 30 years.  Just 2 are in the junk jar. one is melted almost beyond recognition, the other has an actual corner.

There are no bad Bricks, this one has hardly any gloss left to it but it is my first.
