The teardrop shape and placement of the holes has me confused

Chad, Didn’t look close enough to know if the hole is cast, but I would assume so. Can’t see drilling those, it would require wire and not fiber.

Anyone else here into beads/African trade beads?

Here are pics of some of my collection. I love trade beads, chevron, bone and shell, furnace glass, millefiori, vaseline, Czech glass and more!

That 6th pic reminds me of ribbon candy. I want a giant jar full of those!

Not African but SW Indian from the Santa Domingo Pueblo. Picked up today at a local estate sale. We headed into town and saw the sign, drove 2 miles to find out it was a house 3 down from us on the beach. A neighbor I had spoken to a few times while walking the beach, passed away last year.

based on the clasps, thinking early 1900’s.

I also picked up 2 silver rounds from a local casino, they were priced at $5 each🙃

Mojo and Melissa,

is this a good buy? Maybe 90 teardrop czech beads for $145.

Hey, these beads came up in a bead group I'm in on facebook and they appear to be bohemian fulani wedding beads.

Did they say how old they are? They are still available.
