What’s up with all this hoop-di-rah on the second one

I agree with Chad --get a few more images.

It is more than likely a Pelt and I do not really get any hoop-di-rah other than a nice example of a "Rainbo".

Of course size alway matters but I see these as 5/8".

These are new times for collectors so maybe a hoop-di-rah is in order.

Merry Christmas!!

That little bitty slice of rainbow is the Hoopty-di-rah  I was talking about. I’ve got a bunch of those, and none of them had that. So I thought it was interesting. And as a brand new collector, I’m smart enough to know what I don’t know,  which is everything.

I will reply with pics shortly

Here’s a pic of some grandstands I think you’ll like, then. IMG_3185.thumb.jpeg.8b5ef0c0ac168b015d13ca704e531fce.jpeg

That's what I'm talkin about!  The marble from the fourth row to the right, the fourth marble down in the top box has really got my interest... Would you mind giving a close up!? From here it almost looks like a pelt tracer with really exaggerated tracers

Chad, thanks!  Feel free to call me DJ, as most do!  The grand stands (or bleachers) came from Etsy I think. You have to assemble them, but they are super cool. Stackable (I lost a piece which is why I have to hold it in place.. They have roofs that are removable and they’re connectable side to side. You could probably build a whole stadium if they have turn pieces.

Jimbo, I’m assuming you mean this one?  (I’m directionally challenged) it was sold to me as a Heaton that was NOT a dug marble. I’m brand new to marbling, so all I do is make sure that other people were bidding on an item, look it up, try to get in late.  this one ended in the middle of the night, so I could snipe it. It did come from seller on eBay, who is usually pretty accurate with identification. But I don’t know. I’m pretty much just buying what I like, and trying not to get fleeced  😂 IMG_3198.thumb.jpeg.5ef6804cd1c6f35acae4b67e673b64df.jpegIMG_3200.thumb.jpeg.c39f64105f777cf500b1f3b6c20b90fd.jpegIMG_3199.thumb.jpeg.ca93f3add0a267442b2bb481697be9cf.jpegIMG_3203.thumb.jpeg.c40ae7681243ef88b1555388d2e298e1.jpegIMG_3211.thumb.jpeg.602cf280dc4b1ea703abb02e58190f96.jpegIMG_3212.thumb.jpeg.9664ddf9912c6d519157515b1d9fca50.jpeg

Ahhh there we go! Well it may very well be Heaton, but it's definitely not a tracer lol. It sure is a good looking marble! I'm not very good at identifying anything outside of Christensen or alley.. WV swirls require a PHD it seems like to me 😂

Ha!  It IS funny. The card game is just gotten too crazy. Prices all over up and down, people getting in fights in stores. Everything is graded. Companies raising prices AND print runs….  Marbles seems to be a much more relaxing and easy-going hobby. But now you’re gonna make me bust out so my favorite cards and show off a lilIMG_3240.thumb.jpeg.2742229d362e674c7db7f2ee4921cd35.jpeg
