Also is number 2 transitional?

#2 is not a transitional.
With that being said; I would not call any of them “cubscouts”.
The one on the far right seems to be a Marble King made marble—maybe an “anemic “Cubscout”.
It may be the lighting that is throwing me off here but the three on the left appear to have been “veneered” over a white base glass. I will throw that aside and consider my gut which says that they are Akro Agate, intended to be corkscrews.
I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more.
Marble—On!!

Far right one is a poor exposure.  It may be MK.

The other 3 may be Akro.  The second is a folded reject, not a "transitional".  Flaws don't signal a different process.

Is that the same as a diaper fold?

No.  A diaper fold is a CAC.

When a glass ingot is cut and drops to the rollers, sometimes that ingot folds over on itself.  In that case it will usually form an odd pattern.

The once you have is a glass flaw that cooled too quickly to round itself fully on the rollers.
